What’s coming!!!!!!

I know I’ve been MIA for quiet a lot of time, so so sorryyyyyyy… But just let me tell you that this thing called Motherhood is tough stuff!!!!!

When they say you can’t actually breath, they really mean it! And don’t get me wrong, is really as rewarding as every mother in the world profess, but not less tiring.

And is specially tough to a committed reader like me because let’s face it, how can you actually get peace and quite reading time with a crying baby!

Well, I’m glad to inform you than in the three months since my baby was born I’ve read a lot of books, which translate to a lot of book reviews to share with you guys and gals!!

So, a little overview of what’s coming:
  • Jennifer Probst kept me up every night while I was nursing my baby with her series – First the Marriage to a Billionaire Series and then Searching For Series! Interconnected, this 2 series provide us eight great books to spend our reading time! And I’m looking forward to read Izzy’s story, Searching for Mine!!!
  • Then there’s Kate Meader‘s series Hot in Chicago!!!! Once I started it I couldn’t put it down!!! Sexy firefighters mix with politics and lots of humming scenes!
  • And, of course, I cannot let my beloved Lauren Layne behind! Both Blurred Lines and the first book of the Oxford Series, Irresistibly Yours, passed across my hands during this down time.
  • Also, Emma Chase’s The Legal Briefs Series is part of my read list – I have a lot to say about this two books and I’m excited to get Appealed, the third book if this serie in January 2016!
  • Finally, I’ve a couple of other reviews of some amazing books such as I’ve Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella, White Collared Series by Shelly Bell and Maybe Series by Colleen Hoover
Anyway, I better get started with my work!

Hope you enjoy what’s next and as always, see you between the pages!

The Millennium Series has a new book!

A few years ago, some Swedish author named Stieg Larsson got us caught in a very addicting mystery – where a girl with a really complex personality and some double-standard moral ground tangles herself in an investigation with a non-respected journalist.

The Millennium Series was an intense story, describing not only an unexpected rand strange relationship between Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist, but the solving of several crimes related to women abuse and mob issues.

In the end of the third book, the author left us wanting for more (not only for the way it ended but also by dying without finishing the rest of the saga), but now we can discover what happened to the characters after their last adventure because the fourth part of the story is going to be published between summer and fall of this year!!!

David Lagercrantz is the author responsible for continue Larsson’s legacy and is safe to say that it has a great weight upon his shoulders, because many fans of the series are eagerly expecting this book! (If you want to know more about him, you can click in his name to go to his Goodreads profile :D)

Also, and to add some spice into the matter, Lagercrantz has to deal with Eva Gabrielsson disapproval of project. Since Gabrielsson ( Larsson’s long-term partner) possesses an unfinished manuscript for the next part of the Millennium series, which is not included in the upcoming fourth novel, she refers to Lagercrantz’ work as a “completely idiotic choice”:

“The worst thing is how saddened Stieg would have been. He never let anyone work on his literary texts. He would have been furious. Who knows, maybe he’ll send a lightning bolt at the book launch,” she said.

Aside from all the drama, The Girl in the Spider’s Web is expected to be around us on August 27th, 2015, unless you’re in the US, in which case you have to wait until September 1st, 2015 – and for those who, like me, can wait to see what’s new to Lisbeth and Blomkvist, here’s the plot:

“In this adrenaline-charged thriller, genius-hacker Lisbeth Salander and journalist Mikael Blomkvist face a dangerous new threat and must again join forces.

Late one night, Blomkvist receives a phone call from a trusted source claiming to have information vital to the United States. The source has been in contact with a young female super hacker—a hacker resembling someone Blomkvist knows all too well.

 The implications are staggering.

Blomkvist, in desperate need of a scoop for Millennium, turns to Lisbeth for help. She, as usual, has her own agenda.

In The Girl in the Spider’s Web, the duo who thrilled 80 million readers in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest meet again in an extraordinary and uniquely of-the-moment thriller.”

So, we’ll keep waiting to see if The Girl in the Spider’s Web fulfill yours and our expectations, in the meantime…

…see you between the pages!

Manwhore+1 is coming!! (Manwhore #2 – Katy Evans)

I’m so excited!!!! The second book of Katy Evans’s series Manwhore is coming next week – July 7th to be precise! And I just loved the first book, in fact, I got a book hangover for a week hahahaha.

If you haven’t read Manwhore #1 and you are a big fan of the Fifty Shades style, you should really go for it – I’m going to be releasing my review of the first book soon before Manwhore+1 arrived, so hurry up!

Also, I have some great news for you!!! Katy Evans revealed an excerpt of the book TODAY, so we can have a sneak peek of what is coming! I’ll share the link with you at the end of this post 😉

So, here’s the description of Manwhore +1:

Billionaire playboy? Check.

Ruthless businessman? Check.

Absolutely sinful? Check.

Malcolm Saint was an assignment. A story. A beautiful, difficult man I was supposed to uncover for a racy exposé.

I intended to reveal him, his secrets, his lifestyle—not let him reveal me. But my head was overtaken by my heart and suddenly nothing could stop me from falling. I fell for him, and I fell hard.

Malcolm Saint is absolute Sin, and I’ve become a hopeless Sinner.

Now that the assignment is over, Saint wants something from me–something unexpected–and I want this wicked playboy’s heart. But how can I prove to the man who trusts no one that I’m worthy of becoming his plus one?

GOD, I already want the book! And I’m not going to advance anything for you guys, but if you read the first book finale, you know what I mean… 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

You can find the excerpt in Katy Evans’ website through this link:

Hope you enjoy and see you between the pages!

Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian (Fifty Shades #4)

Holly S..t!!! E.L. James now bring us the story from Christian’s perspective… So, let’s be real about this – this could be a mayor hit or a total disaster!!!

For those who are as shock as I was to see this, here’s the description of the book:

See the world of Fifty Shades of Grey anew through the eyes of Christian Grey.

In Christian’s own words, and through his thoughts, reflections, and dreams, E L James offers a fresh perspective on the love story that has enthralled millions of readers around the world.

Christian Grey exercises control in all things; his world is neat, disciplined, and utterly empty—until the day that Anastasia Steele falls into his office, in a tangle of shapely limbs and tumbling brown hair. He tries to forget her, but instead is swept up in a storm of emotion he cannot comprehend and cannot resist. Unlike any woman he has known before, shy, unworldly Ana seems to see right through him—past the business prodigy and the penthouse lifestyle to Christian’s cold, wounded heart.

Will being with Ana dispel the horrors of his childhood that haunt Christian every night? Or will his dark sexual desires, his compulsion to control, and the self-loathing that fills his soul drive this girl away and destroy the fragile hope she offers him?

Let me get this straight!! Are we going to read the SAME stories we already know, but from his point of view? What possibly new things can add this book? I know that is really great to get the idea about how Christian’s mind works, but a complete book about it seems a little extreme to me. I was beyond happy with the sneak peek E.L. James gave us at the end of FIFTY SHADES FREED (which basically was my favorite part of the ending book of the series), but to twist that into an entire book can be really dangerous considering that it can ruin everyones fantasies about Grey, just as Jamie Dornan did in the movie.

So, good luck with that E.L. – I’m really hopping I’m wrong about this! Of course, I’m gonna read the book and let you guys know about my thoughts.

And for the sake of laughter, here’s Jimmy Fallon’s perspective about it! Hahahaha

Hope you enjoy the book and see you between the pages!
