REVIEW: Fight with Me by Kristen Proby

Fight with Me (With Me in Seattle, #2)My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Much much better than the first book of this series.
You can see the evolution of the author from the first book to this one and, although it’s still missing some depth and some building into the characters’ personas, it was easier to engage with this story.

First of all, Jules it’s a great female character: strong, independent and sure of herself. She’s not second guessing everything like Natalie was in the first book. And what I love the most about her is that she was a grown up, responsible for her actions and their consequences.

Nate was a little bit more flat. He was intense some times, cold other times and I had difficulties trying to follow his mood swings. He seemed tortured at the beginning of the book, then easy going at some other points. It was better than Luke but still not quite yet there.

But books like this one are the reason I like to enjoy a full series before ditching an author. Because you get to see the evolution and how a couple of months and some bad reviews made that author grow.

I’ll keep digging into the Come With Me series and report back! hahah
See you between the pages.

Trish 😉
